Closed for Spiritual Maintenance.

The past two years have been the hardest ones yet, but in tandem, the most joyous & deepest peace I’ve experienced to date.⁣

𝗪𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐮𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐝𝐲 - 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐮𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐧 𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐦 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞.⁣

Divorce, starting over financially, losing my Mom unexpectedly, yada, yada, yada. ⁣
⁣
Because there was so much uncertainty with my fragile broken heart, I had no choice but to surrender. 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐲 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐟𝐟 𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬! The magic, the joy, the blessings, the electric current that courses through your veins in case you doubted what you were made of! ⁣

The bummer is that it’s ridiculously exhausting learning life’s lessons the hard way. Always inconvenient at best. ⁣
⁣
So back in January when I made my yearly vision board (I know, I’m one of those people) - I wanted to find a way to get to that 𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐧𝐢𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐚 without having to kill off loved ones or end up homeless on the streets.⁣

(Btw trying to find that photo in a magazine to pin up was no small feat, but if you scroll left, I did find this picture and it somehow made sense). ⁣

Six months later, Jake invited me to go to Burning Man.⁣
⁣
A temporary metropolis in the middle of the desert dedicated to community, art, self-expression, self-reliance, gifting, decommodification, leaving things better than how you found them and IMMEDIACY. ⁣
⁣
Immediacy is a fancy way of saying PAY ATTENTION. Lean in. Feel the feels.⁣
⁣
So for the next week, starting tomorrow, I will be completely OFF THE GRID - to play, to wonder, to write, to wear fabulous outfits & feel the electric current that only the divine can provide.
